As a Senior Structures Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing and maintaining detailed finite element models for structural analysis
- Creating high-quality stress and structural documentation to required standards
- Delivering structural design solutions that meet applicable airworthiness requirements
- Supporting Type Certification activities through robust analysis and reporting
- Reviewing and approving design drawing packages in line with delegated authority
- Providing clear progress updates to senior engineering stakeholders
As a Senior Structures Engineer, your experience will include:
- Significant experience in aircraft structures or complex mechanical structures design
- Strong capability in hand calculations and finite element analysis techniques
- Working knowledge of EASA and FAA airworthiness requirements
- Proficiency with finite element modelling tools and CAD systems
- A Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering
- A methodical, detail-focused approach with the ability to take work through to closure
